BGMI Announces Rs. 25 lakh Prize Pool Days After Game Relaunchs
BGMI comes up with a surprising Esports tournament in which it is offering an Rs. 25 lakh prize pool just after days of ban reversal. The mobile game was relaunched by the developers Krafton on May 29 with some playtime restrictions.

BGMI, Battleground Mobile India is better known to all the Indian youths who are game lovers which gives a wild gaming experience with royal shooter BGMI. The game was earlier banned in India and after a long run of bans, recently returned to iOS and Android platforms. Developers of the BGMI (Krafton) again launch the game by applying some playtime restrictions in place. After some days when it begins its second life in India, BGMI is now the centerpiece of an esports tournament. A renowned gaming venture Skyesports is hosting a BGMI tournament with a prize pool of Rs. 25 lakh.
“We are highly grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing us to resume operations of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). We would like to extend our gratitude to our Indian gaming community for their support and patience over the past few months,” said the CEO of Krafton India Sean Hyunil Sohn in a press release.
In a tweet on Saturday, the Skyesports company told that the tournament will commence on June 9 and will end on June 18. Further told that the tournaments will start 1:00 pm IST and stream on Skyesport social media channels like YouTube channel. The game has been halted in India since it was banned by the Indian authorities in July 2022.
The returned new BGMI is back on your mobile and also downloadable via the App Store and Google Play Store, respectively. As per the information held by the developers, the playability will be staggered and all the users will have access to login in phases within 48 hours.
